Minor Injuries Sustained in Commerce Car Crash on 5 Freeway near Garfield Avenue Off-Ramp
Commerce, California (February 12, 2022) – Minor injuries were sustained in a multi-vehicle pileup that took place Saturday morning on 5 Freeway in Commerce, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck was reported at about 8:37 a.m. on the northbound side of the freeway just south of the Garfield Avenue off-ramp.
The report said five vehicles were involved in the accident.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene shortly after receiving reports of the accident.
As per the report, minor injuries were sustained. The number of patients, however, was not mentioned. It was not clear if anyone was hospitalized.
CHP officers are collecting more information to establish the cause of the collision.
