At Least One Person Seriously Injured in Corning Crash on Gallagher Avenue at Edith Avenue
Corning, California (February 3, 2022) – At least one person sustained serious injuries following a car crash that happened Thursday morning at an intersection in Corning, Tehama County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the major injury collision occurred at around 8:00 a.m. on Gallagher Avenue at Edith Avenue, just east of the Interstate 5 Freeway and rest stop.
A black Chevrolet sedan collided with a gray Volkswagen sedan on Gallagher Avenue at the intersection with Edith Avenue, the CHP said.
Major Injury Traffic Accident in Corning
At least one person sustained major injuries and was airlifted to a hospital. The name of the victim and their current condition were not available.
The crash remains under investigation.
