Rosa Valencia suffered critical injuries in the wreck and despite life-saving measures, she died at the scene

Wasco, Calif.. – The Kern County coroner has released the name of the woman who died in a multi-vehicle crash in Wasco back on Feb. 1.
The woman, identified as Rosa Cristina Almaraz Valencia, 18, of McFarland died in the crash that occurred at about 12:40 p.m. on February 1 at the intersection of Scofield Avenue and McCombs Way.
Rosa Valencia was a passenger in one of the involved vehicles. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Wasco, Calif. – A woman was killed and another injured after a crash involving a semi-truck at an intersection in Wasco Thursday afternoon.
According to the Kern County Police Department, the collision happened at Scofield Avenue and McCombs Way at around 12:40 p.m.
A semi-trailer truck collide with a Toyota Corolla at the intersection in unclear circumstances.
The woman suffered critical injuries in the wreck and despite life-saving measures, she died at the scene.
The Corolla driver was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The driver of the semi refused medical care.
The name of the deceased was not released.
An investigation is ongoing.
