Cory Hudson Hurt in Deadly Nipomo Accident on Highway 1 near Winterhaven Way
Nipomo, California (July 6, 2022) – Cory Hudson of Grover Beach was injured in a deadly traffic collision that happened Wednesday morning near Nipomo, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred at about 4:45 a.m. on Highway 1 near Winterhaven Way
According to the report, Hudson was driving a 2005 Dodge Ram southbound on Highway 1 when he attempted to make a left turn onto Winterhaven Way and went directly into the path of a northbound 2007 Honda Civic.
The two vehicles collided head-on on the highway.
Hudson sustained moderate injuries in the accident.
The driver of the Honda and a 45-year-old man in his vehicle were both killed in the crash.
The CHP is conducting an investigation into the fatal collision.
