Minor Injuries Sustained in Costa Mesa Crash on Interstate 405 near Fairview Road
Costa Mesa, California (May 20, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a rollover car collision that happened Thursday night in Costa Mesa.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident occurred at about 8:31 p.m. on southbound Interstate 405, just north of Fairfield Road.
The collision involved at least two vehicles, including a gray BMW sedan and a dark-colored SUV that overturned and landed back on its wheels.
All occupants of the cars were able to get out of the vehicles after the accident.
An unknown number of parties sustained minor injuries. Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and helped the parties.
The Nos. 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 lanes were shut down following the collision. The Nos. 5 and 6 lanes were reopened after half an hour and the rest after an hour.
