San Joaquin County, Calif. – A bicycle rider was struck and killed by a car on dark and rainy street in San Joaquin County Monday morning.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the wreck on El Dorado Street, near Arch Airport Road at around 5 a.m.
Reportedly, a 32-year-old Stockton woman did not see the cyclist due to the conditions until it was late. Despite trying to swerve, she hit the victim.
The unidentified bicycle rider was pronounced dead at the crash site.
The woman remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
