Spokane Valley, WA.- A bicyclist was killed in a traffic collision in Spokane Valley on Wednesday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The crash took place on I-90 at Pines Road at around 4:28 a.m.
A person was riding a bicycle pulling a trailer carrying a dog when they failed to stop for a red light and was hit by a vehicle.
The bicyclist was rushed to a hospital with critical injuries.
The involved driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI following the incident.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
