Portland, Ore. – David Bentley has been identified by authorities as man killed in bicycle crash near SE Belmont Street in Portland early Sunday morning.
Authorities said the wreck was reported at around 3 a.m. near Southeast Belmont Street and Southeast Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.
Reports sated that 22-year-old Shane M. McKeever intentionally hit the Bentley near the intersection and had attempted to flee the scene.

Portland, Ore. – A male bicyclist was struck and killed by a vehicle near an intersection in Portland early Sunday morning.
According to a local source, the collision was reported at around 3 a.m. near Southeast Belmont Street and Southeast Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.
Reportedly, 22-year-old Shane M. McKeever hit the bicyclist near the intersection in unclear circumstances and had attempted to flee the scene.
The cyclist suffered severe injuries ad was transported to a hospital, where he later died.
The name of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
During the investigation, Southeast Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue and Southeast Grand Avenue are closed between Southeast Yamhill Street and Southeast Morrison Street.
The crash remains under investigation.
