At Least 1 Hospitalized after Sunday Afternoon Daly City Motorcycle Crash on Cabrillo Highway near Highway 35
Daly City, California (April 10, 2022) – At least one person was severely injured in a fiery motorcycle collision that happened Sunday afternoon in Daly City, the California Highway Patrol said.
The wreck occurred at about 5:28 p.m. on northbound Cabrillo Highway, just north of Highway 35.
A black Harley-Davidson motorcycle collided with a white truck, possibly a Ford, for unknown reasons. Both vehicles were blocking the middle lanes and caught fire after the first impact.
Daly City Police Department, firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene.
At least one person sustained severe burns but was conscious and breathing. The paramedics transported the victim to the hospital in unknown condition.
All northbound lanes of Cabrillo Highway north of Highway 35 were blocked for about an hour and a half following the collision.
