Dalya Olea Hurt in Garberville Crash on Highway 101 near Bell Springs Road
Garberville, California (May 4, 2022) – Dalya Dhamar Olea, of Fortuna, was injured in a crash with a drunk driver in Garberville on Monday, according to authorities.
The incident occurred on Highway 101, north of Bell Springs Road on May 2.
According to the report, Valerio M. Garcia Luna was driving a Nissan pickup north on Highway 101 when he swerved across the double yellow lines and collided head-on with an oncoming Honda driven by Olea.

Authorities said Olea suffered minor injuries and was taken to Howard Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Luna was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries and was later arrested on charges of felony DUI, driving with a BAC 0.12% or greater, driving without a license, and DUI causing injury.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
