Fremont, CA. – Daniel Uriah Thrower, 27, has been identified as the man who died in a car crash on Tuesday evening in Fremont.
The fatal accident happened on Interstate 880 Freeway near Decoto Road at around 8:40 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The man was driving a white Ford Taurus southbound on the freeway when he struck a blue Toyota Prius before crashing into an embankment.
Thrower, a resident of El Sobrante, was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The Toyota driver was unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
