Man Killed, Danny Correa Arrested after Tulare Pedestrian Accident on Bardsley Street and Spruce Avenue
Tulare, California (January 3, 2021) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a suspected DUI driver in Tulare on Sunday evening, the Tulare Police Department said.
The victim was attempting to cross the street near Bardsley Street and Spruce Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle driven by Danny Correa, 41.
The incident occurred at around 5:30 p.m. January 2.

Tulare police said the pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Correa reportedly displayed signs of being intoxicated. After evaluating him, police arrested Correa and booked him into the Tulare County Jail on charges of DUI and vehicular manslaughter.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
