Police said Garcia was riding a motorcycle at a high rate of speed eastbound on East Laurel Drive when he collided with a Honda that was making a left turn onto southbound Maryal Drive
Salinas, CA.- The man who was killed in a motorcycle collision that happened in Salinas on Thursday evening has been identified as Danny Garcia, 34, of Salinas, according to the Salinas Police Department.
The crash happened on East Laurel Drive and Maryal Drive at around 5:30 p.m. October 24.
Police said Garcia was riding a motorcycle at a high rate of speed eastbound on East Laurel Drive when he collided with a Honda that was making a left turn onto southbound Maryal Drive.
Garcia was killed in the accident.
A passenger in the Honda was treated for minor injuries.
According to police, impairment was not suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The accident is under investigation.
