Danny Silva ID'd as Lynwood Man Killed in Los Angeles Crash on Santa Monica Freeway near La Cienega Boulevard
Los Angeles, California (January 22, 2022) – Danny R. Silva, 27, of Lynwood, has been identified as the man who was killed in a Saturday morning wrong-way collision in Los Angeles, authorities said.
The deadly head-on crash occurred at about 4:25 a.m. on the eastbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway west of La Cienega Boulevard.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a white 2018 Mazda MX5 Miata roadster, driven by Silva, was headed westbound in eastbound lanes when it crashed head-on into a black 2012 Infiniti EX35 SUV, driven by a 54-year-old Los Angeles man.

Sadly, Silva was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Infiniti sustained moderate injuries in the accident.
