, California (May 22, 2022) – Davian Lemus, 19, of Ceres, was arrested after a suspected DUI crash that took place in Ceres last Saturday, according to the authorities.

The wreck happened on May 14, on Mitchell Road and Whitmore Avenue.

According to the authorities, an officer spotted a Hyundai Accent traveling southbound on Mitchell Road at a high rate of speed and tried to stop the driver.

Instead, the driver switched off the headlights, and fled from the area.

Shortly after, the suspect crashed into a Toyota Camry and a Nissan Pathfinder.

A woman riding in the Pathfinder suffered abdominal pain and was transported to Doctors Medical Center.

Two passengers in the Pathfinder were transported to Doctors with unspecified injuries.

The two occupants of the Toyota declined to be transported to the hospital.

Lemus was taken into custody for DUI causing injury, felony evading a peace officer, and reckless driving resulting in injury.

The crash is under investigation.
