Barstow, Calif. – A pedestrian was killed Saturday evening after being struck by a vehicle at an intersection in Barstow, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
The pedestrian accident happened at about 6:11 p.m. on January 20 at the intersection of Lenwood Road and Tumbleweed Drive.
Barstow Police Department responded to the scene and found the pedestrian with fatal injuries. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The San Diego County Sheriff's-Coroner identified the victim as David Ochoa, 23, of Barstow.
The incident remains under investigation.
