Chino, Calif. – At least one person died in a traffic collision involving two semi-trucks that happened early Saturday morning in Chino, the California Highway Patrol said.
CHP received reports of the collision around 2:51 a.m. on westbound Highway 60 east of Benson Avenue.
At least three vehicles, including two semi-trucks and a car, were involved in the crash. The big rigs jackknifed, blocking traffic lanes.
Chino police, firefighters, paramedics and other emergency personnel responded to the scene.
At least one person died in the crash, as per the report.
The driver of one of the big rigs complained of pain to the back.
All the westbound lanes of the highway were blocked during an investigation.
