1 Killed in Hughson Car Accident on Whitmore Avenue and Waring Road
Stanislaus County, California (September 8, 2022) – One person died in a rollover head-on collision that took place Thursday afternoon near an intersection in Hughson, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at about 3:30 p.m. near E Whitmore Avenue and Waring Road.
A Ford Expedition and another vehicle collided head-on for unknown reasons. One of the vehicles overturned and trapped at least one person inside.
First responders pronounced one person dead at the scene and requested a coroner representative from the Stanislaus County Sheriff-Department to respond.
The Ford was towed away with a missing left-front tire.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
