1 Killed, At Least 1 Hurt in Corcoran Car Crash on Highway 43 near Avenue 144
Corcoran, California (August 24, 2022) – One person died, and at least one other was hurt in a multi-vehicle accident that took place Wednesday afternoon in Corcoran, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident was reported at around 4:10 p.m. on Highway 43 near Avenue 144.
A gray Honda Accord, a silver Hyundai Elantra, and a third vehicle were involved in the collision.
One person was slumped over, non-responsive, inside their car. Another car was smoking with a male and a female occupant. The female occupant was bleeding from her head.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced one person dead.
The cause and manner of the accident were not immediately released, but an investigation is ongoing.
