San Diego, Calif. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle Friday night on a freeway in San Diego, authorities said.
The accident was reported around 11:46 p.m. on the northbound 5 Freeway near 8 Freeway.
Paramedics responded to the scene shortly after the collision.
The pedestrian was killed in the accident, the report said.
Authorities did not immediately establish the factors that may have led to the accident.
