The Los Angeles County Fire Department transported the deputy to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries
Santa Clarita, CA. – A Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputy and one other person were injured in a collision involving an LASD patrol car on Wednesday afternoon in Santa Clarita.
The collision happened at the intersection of Newhall Ranch Road and Bouquet Canyon Road at around 12:19 p.m.
The deputy was responding to a burglary in progress when the patrol car was t-boned by another vehicle.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department transported the deputy to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
One other person was transported to the hospital in unknown condition.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
