Deryk Shaffer Killed in Big Bear Lake Crash on Big Bear Boulevard near Knickerbocker Road
Big Bear Lake California (March 23, 2022) – Deryk Shaffer, 30, of Big Bear City, was killed in a motorcycle collision that took place on Sunday evening in Big Bear Lake, according to the authorities.
The wreck at Knickerbocker Road and Big Bear Boulevard took place at around 6:30 p.m. March 20.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Shaffer was riding a motorcycle east on Big Bear Boulevard when he lost control due to a westbound Toyota sedan that made a left turn in front of him.
Shaffer sustained major injuries and was taken to Bear Valley Community Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The authorities are conducting an investigation into the collision.
