Minor Injuries Suffered in Desert Hot Springs Crash on Interstate 10 near Indian Canyon Drive

Desert Hot Springs, California (September 23, 2021) – Minor injuries were sustained in a car accident that happened early Thursday morning on a freeway in Desert Hot Springs.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident was reported at around 12:34 a.m. on westbound Interstate 10 near N Indian Canyon Drive.
The report said the crash involved a black Honda Accord and a GMC Terrain.
The driver of the GMC Terrain called authorities reporting that the Honda Civic cut them off, ending up in the center divider. The Civic stopped on the right-hand shoulder.
At least one person suffered minor injuries in the accident. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to help the victim.
The GMC Terrain was towed away with front-end damage and the Civic with damage to the left rear.
CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
