Begay was crossing the freeway and despite having a red light, a vehicle struck him
Phoenix, Ariz. – 24-year-old Deshan Begay was killed in a pedestrian crash in Phoenix Wednesday evening.
According to a police report, the dealy auto-pedestrian happened at around 6:30 p.m. on April 10 on Interstate 10 at 51st Avenue.
Begay was crossing the freeway and despite having a red light, a vehicle struck him.
The police said the driver was partially impaired.
Begay was rushed to a hospital, where he later died.
An investigation is ongoing.
