The Fontana Police Department responded to a grisly car accident at around 12:32 a.m. on July 5 at Canyon Crest Drive and Long View Drive.
Fontana, CA – The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department has identified Desiree Margaret Delgadillo, 34, of Fontana as a driver killed in a vehicle collision at an intersection in Fontana early Saturday morning.
The Fontana Police Department responded to a grisly car accident at around 12:32 a.m. on July 5 at Canyon Crest Drive and Long View Drive.
A preliminary investigation revealed that Delgadillo was driving an off-road vehicle when, for unknown reasons, she hit a light pole.
Delgadillo was declared dead at the scene. A male passenger in the car suffered injuries and was rushed to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment and is expected to recover.
No additional information regarding the mishap was provided.
An investigation is underway.
