, California (October 29, 2021) – One person was hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision that happened Thursday night on a highway in Diamond Bar, the California Highway Patrol said.

The incident occurred at around 8:31 p.m. on the northbound Highway 57 transition road to eastbound .

A Nissan and a black and red sedan were involved in the accident.

One person sustained minor injuries in the accident and was transported to Valley Hospital Medical Center for treatment.

Officers temporarily closed the No. 1 and HOV lane following the crash.

CHP officers are investigating to establish the cause of the accident.
