At Least 1 Injured in Diamond Bar Crash on Highway 57 and Highway 60
Diamond Bar, California (September 17, 2021) – At least one person was injured in a multi-vehicle pileup that occurred Thursday afternoon on a transition road in Diamond Bar, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP said five vehicles collided at about 12:51 p.m. on the northbound Highway 57 transition to eastbound Highway 60.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to help the motorists.
Authorities could not immediately establish how and why the vehicles, including a wheelchair van, collided.
An occupant in the wheelchair van complained of pain and needed medical attention.
The report said only minor injuries were sustained in the accident but did not mention if anyone was hospitalized.
Firefighters blocked the lanes Nos. 1 and 2 following the pileup.
An investigation is ongoing.
