Diego Correa, 24, Identified as Man Killed in San Jacinto Crash on Soboba Road

San Jacinto, California (April 7, 2022) – Authorities have identified the person who died Thursday morning in a big rig crash on Soboba Road as 24-year-old Diego Correa.
The deadly crash took place at about 9:50 a.m. on Soboba Road, approximately 2.6 miles east of Gilman Springs Road in San Jacinto.
As per the CHP report, a big rig with a shipping container collided with a sedan under unclear circumstances. The semi overturned onto its side, blocking both traffic lanes.
Diego was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.

A Thursday morning crash in San Jacinto left one person dead and a big rig overturned and blocking the roadway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck occurred at about 9:51 a.m. on Soboba Road, near Gilman Springs Road and Golden Era Golf Course.

First responders pronounced one person in the sedan dead at the scene.
