1 Injured in Lemon Grove Truck Accident on State Route 94 near College Avenue
Lemon Grove, California (November 8, 2021) – A driver was taken to the hospital after being involved in a collision with a delivery truck in Lemon Grove early Monday morning, according to authorities.
At around 4 a.m., a car was reportedly traveling on eastbound State Route 94 when it slammed into the back of the delivery truck near College Avenue.
The car became wedged under the rear of the truck following the collision.

Firefighters responded to the scene and used the Jaws of Life to extricate the driver of the car.
The driver was then transported to Scripps Mercy Hospital for treatment of his injuries. The extent of his injuries was unknown.
No other injuries were reported.
An investigation to find out what caused the accident is underway.
