Driver Hurt After Acton Truck Accident on Highway 14 near Escondido Canyon Road
Acton, California (July 29, 2022) – A driver suffered minor injuries following a big rig collision on Thursday morning in Acton, Los Angeles County, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The accident happened at around 5:49 a.m. July 28, northbound 14 Freeway, just south of Escondido Canyon Road.
As per the dispatch, a car rear-ended an oil tanker for unknown reasons.
Responding firefighters and medical personnel attended to the car driver, who was bleeding from the face following the accident. The name of the injured party was not immediately released.
Due to the collision, debris was scattered in the roadway and was blocking lanes 3 and 4.
A flatbed tow truck was requested to tow away one of the vehicles from the crash site.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
