Glendale, AZ.- A driver was killed in a collision involving a tanker truck in Glendale on Friday morning, according to the Glendale Police Department.
The wreck happened near Grand Avenue and Royal Palm Road at around 9 a.m. July 11.
According to the report, a tanker truck was trying to back into a business along Grand Avenue when it was struck by a small sedan.
Bystanders pulled out the driver from the sedan and performed life-saving measures until medics arrived.
Despite the life-saving measures, the driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Grand Avenue was shut down for hours as authorities worked at the scene.
The incident remained under investigation.
