According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Watt Avenue at Adams Road, on December 28.

A man was driving a Chevrolet north on the highway while a Toyota Camry occupied by two men was traveling south.

For unknown reasons, the Chevrolet driver attempted to make a U-turn at Adams Road and was broadsided by the Camry.

The impact of the crash caused the Chevrolet to overturn.

The Chevrolet driver was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

The two men in the Camry complained of pain and were taken to hospital.

Impairment was not suspected to be a factor in the collision.
