Phoenix, Ariz. – A driver was seriously injured in a multi-car crash Friday morning on Grand Avenue in Phoenix, authorities said.
The Glendale police responded to the wreck at around 5 a.m. on Grand Avenue near Bethany Home Road.
Multiple vehicles were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the wreck were not immediately established.
One of the cars involved suffered front-end damage.
A driver was seriously injured in the collision.
The police said speed and impairment are being investigated as possible factors.
Arizona Department of Transportation officials say westbound lanes were shut down due to the crash.
