At Least 1 Person Seriously Injured in Duarte Crash on Huntington Drive near Las Lomas Road
Duarte, California (May 18, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a Tuesday morning head-on collision that left at least one person seriously injured in Duarte, Los Angeles.
The major injury wrong-way crash happened at about 9:21 p.m., on May 17, in the 2700 block of Huntington Drive near Duarte Azusa Animal Hospital.
According to the officials, a red Prius was allegedly driving the wrong way on Huntington Drive when it collided with an Audi SUV.
As a result of the crash impact, the Prius reportedly went crashing into a building next to the Duarte Azusa Animal Hospital.
1 Person Injured, Dog Killed in Crash on Huntington Drive
At least one person was seriously injured in the accident.
A dog was also killed in the accident. Authorities said the dog did not belong to the hospital and was possibly in one of the vehicles.
Both vehicles sustained significant damage in the mishap.
The crash remains under investigation.
