Dublin Car Accident on Westbound 580 Freeway and Southbound 680 Freeway Connector
Dublin, California (February 26, 2022) – Minor injuries were sustained when multiple vehicles collided Friday afternoon in Dublin, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident was reported at about 4:14 p.m. on the westbound 580 Freeway to southbound 680 Freeway connector.
Reportedly, a black Dodge Challenger was recklessly driving when it spun out and caused a crash involving three other vehicles.
A SigAlert was issued closing the westbound 580 Freeway to southbound 680 Freeway connector following the collision.
According to firefighters who responded to the scene, only minor injuries were sustained in the accident. It was not clear if anyone was hospitalized.
All traffic lanes were reopened at 4:58 p.m.
CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
