Atherton, CA. – The bicyclist who was hit and killed by a vehicle on Wednesday morning in Atherton has been identified as Dylan Taylor, according to the Atherton Police Department.
The deadly crash occurred at around 7:40 a.m. on May 7.
Police reported that Taylor was riding a bicycle south on Middlefield Road in the bicycle lane when a southbound vehicle trying to make a right turn onto Prior Lane collided with the rider.
Taylor was pronounced deceased at a hospital.
The driver who struck Taylor remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
Drugs and alcohol were not suspected to have played a role in the accident.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
