According to the Phoenix Police Department, the crash occured at around 6 p.m. November 29 on 50th Street and McDowell Road.
Phoenix, AZ – 36-year-old Edroy McCormick was identified as a pedestrian struck and killed in a crash on 50th Street in Phoenix Friday evening.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, the crash occured at around 6 p.m. November 29 on 50th Street and McDowell Road.
McCormick was crossing McDowell Road when he was struck by a westbound motorcycle.
McCormick was taken to a local hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.
The driver of the motorcycle initially left the area and came back while detectives were investigating.
Detectives determined impairment was not a factor in the mishap.
No arrest were made at that time.
The accident remains under investigation.
