Othello, WA.- Edson Quintero De La Cruz, 34, of Wenatchee, was killed in a collision with a farm tractor on Friday near Othello, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The incident took place on State Route 26 near milepost 32, at about 12:30 p.m. April 11.
According to the report, De La Cruz was driving a box truck eastbound on SR 26 when he crashed into the rear of a tractor.
De La Cruz was not wearing a seatbelt and was killed in the accident.
Two passengers in the truck, Maria G. Mendoza, 42, and Marcalina D. Santana, 42, were both taken to Kadlec Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
The operator of the tractor was not injured.
The accident is under investigation.
