Eduardo Salinas ID'd as 1 of 2 Killed in Oakdale Car Accident on 26 Mile Road near Eastman Road

Oakdale, California (August 1, 2022) – Eduardo Salinas, 51, of Oakdale, has been identified as one of the two men who were killed in a Friday afternoon head-on collision in Oakdale, according to the Stanislaus County Coroner's Office.
The deadly accident occurred at about 3:50 p.m. on 26 Mile Road, north of Eastman Road, near Woodward Reservoir.
According to the officials, a southbound Chevrolet Tahoe, operated by Salinas, crossed the double yellow lines and entered the northbound lanes of the roadway, where it collided with an F-150 pickup, driven by Clinton T. Tutthill, 45, of Murphys.
Sadly, Tutthill and Salinas were pronounced dead at the scene.
More details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
