Edward Kiebel ID'd as Man Killed in Isleton Crash on Highway 160
Sacramento County, California (October 14, 2021) – The man who was killed in a head-on collision near Isleton Saturday evening has been identified as Edward Allen Kiebel, 52, of Vacaville, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff Coroner's Office.
The crash was reported shortly before 5:15 p.m. October 9, in the 15175 block of Highway 160, just west of Isleton.
According to the authorities, a Lexus was traveling on Highway 160 at a high rate of speed when it swerved off the shoulder for unknown reasons.
The driver then overcorrected and lost control of the vehicle, crossing over the double yellow lines and colliding head-on with an oncoming Ford F350.

Kiebel, who was the driver of the Lexus, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other driver was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
The crash remained under investigation.
