Elias Flores Among 2 Killed in Merced County Accident on Fahey and Cherokee Roads
Merced County, California (March 4, 2022) – Elias Flores was among two people who died in a traffic collision in Merced County on Wednesday afternoon, according to a local news source.
A Nissan and a Honda were involved in the incident that took place near Fahey and Cherokee roads.
The Nissan reportedly lost control and traveled over the westbound lane from the eastbound side of Fahey Road. It then left the roadway and slammed into a telephone pole.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and performed life-saving measures on the two occupants of the Nissan.

The two parties, identified as Flores and Carlos Galindo, were sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Honda also left the roadway, collided with the guardrail and overturned into a canal.
The driver of the Honda was reportedly treated for minor injuries.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
