Eligia Morales Killed in Riverside Pedestrian Accident on Hayes and Roosevelt Streets
Riverside, California (March 16, 2022) – Eligia Del Rosario Morales, 58, was among two people killed in an auto pedestrian crash near Liberty Elementary School in Riverside Tuesday afternoon, the authorities said.
The crash took place as Morales and two children were walking in a crosswalk on Hayes and Roosevelt streets at around 3:50 p.m. March 15.
A 46-year-old driver in a blue 2020 Range Rover was heading west on Hayes Street when they made a turn onto Roosevelt Street and struck the three pedestrians.

Morales and a little boy were killed in the accident.
A girl involved in the accident was taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The driver was uninjured in the crash and stayed at the site of the incident.
Authorities do not believe alcohol or drugs were involved.
The Riverside Police Department is investigating the crash.
