Elizabeth Strull ID'd as Woman Struck, Killed by Vehicle at Cochran Street and Stow Street in Simi Valley

Simi Valley, California (September 17, 2021) – The Ventura County Medical Examiner's Bureau has identified the woman who died after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday morning in Simi Valley as Elizabeth S. Strull, 68, of Simi Valley.
The deadly crash happened at about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 14, at the intersection of Street and Stow Street, near Simi Valley High School.
Police said Strull and a 37-year-old woman were walking northbound across the intersection inside a crosswalk when they were hit by a Honda CR-V driven by a 60-year-old Simi Valley woman.
Woman Killed, Another Injured in Simi Valley Pedestrian Crash
Strull died at the scene while the 37-year-old woman was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
The Honda driver remained at the scene and was cooperative, authorities said. Alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
