Authorities said Emma Osuna was crossing the intersection in a crosswalk when she was hit by a westbound 2018 Nissan Kicks.
San Diego, CA – The San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office has released the name of the woman who was hit and killed by a vehicle at a San Diego intersection last week Wednesday.
The Medical Examiner identified the woman as 50-year-old Emma Jimenez Osuna of San Diego.
The deadly pedestrian accident happened at about 9:53 a.m. on May 21 at the intersection of 63rd Street and Imperial Avenue.
Authorities said Emma Osuna was crossing the intersection in a crosswalk when she was hit by a westbound 2018 Nissan Kicks.
As per the police, the driver of the Nissan, a 49-year-old woman, may have run a stop light and struck the pedestrian.
Osuna was pronounced dead at the scene.
No additional information is available.
The crash is under investigation.
