Several Hurt in Empire Crash at Highway 132 and Bent Road
Empire, California (April 4, 2022) – Several people were injured in a two-vehicle collision that took place in Empire on Sunday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred at around 9:17 p.m. April 3, on Highway 132 and Bent Road.
CHP said a black SUV stopped on the shoulder of the highway pulled into the roadway and collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle.

At least four people were injured in the accident and were taken to Doctors Medical Center.
The driver who caused the collision is believed to have been under the influence of alcohol at the time. The driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
The CHP is investigating the incident.
