Preliminary information indicated a red vehicle was heading westbound on McDowell Road while approaching 57th Avenue when the vehicle went into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with an eastbound black vehicle on McDowell Road from 57th Avenue.
Phoenix, AZ. – Eric Allen, 37, and Indalecio Lara, 51, were killed in a head-on collision on 59th Avenue in West Phoenix Wednesday morning.
The incident happened at around 10:30 a.m. near 59th Avenue and McDowell Road.

Allen, Lara, and a third person were rushed to the hospital for treatment, where Allen and Lara were pronounced dead.
The third victim remained hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
