Victorville, CA. – A woman died after colliding with a semi-truck on Tuesday night in Victorville.
The accident happened around 11:24 p.m. on Nisqualli Road near Sixth Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
44-year-old Esperanza Guerra was driving a gray Honda Civic westbound when she slammed into the rear of a red Freightliner Cascadia.
Guerra, a Victorville resident, was killed in the accident.
The driver of the semi-truck was hospitalized with minor injuries.
Authorities closed Nisqualli Road between Sixth and Fourth Avenues as the scene was cleared.
More details about the accident were not released.
