Eugene Ray III Killed in Indian Wells Crash on Highway 111 and Desert Horizons Drive
Indian Wells, California (September 25, 2021) – Eugene Ray III, 37, was killed in an auto-pedestrian accident on Saturday morning in Indian Wells, according to Riverside County Sheriff's Office.
The crash happened on Highway 111 and Desert Horizons Drive just before 5:16 a.m.
Ray was hit by a vehicle in the area under unclear circumstances.

Deputies said Ray died of injuries sustained in the crash.
The driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the scene after the crash and cooperated with the authorities. The driver was not suspected to be impaired, deputies said.
