Eva Gonzalez and Thomas Antral Identified as 2 People Killed in Beaumont Crash on Highway 60 near Jack Rabbit Trail
Beaumont, California (April 23, 2022) – Eva Lopez Gonzalez, 28, of Hemet, and Thomas Antral, 49, of Pasadena, have been identified as the two people who were killed in a wrong-way crash in Beaumont, according to the Riverside County coroner's office.
The crash occurred at about 3:37 a.m. on Highway 60 near Jack Rabbit Trail.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Hyundai Sonata, operated by Gonzalez, was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes when it crashed into a Chevrolet Malibu with two occupants.
The Malibu, driven by Antral, was reportedly on its way from Palm Springs to Pico Rivera.

Sadly, Antral and Gonzalez were pronounced dead at the scene.
A 40-year-old Pico Rivera man who was a passenger in the Malibu sustained major injuries and was hospitalized for treatment.
One other party sustained minor injuries. The patient declined hospitalization.
Traffic on the roadway was stopped for an unknown period due to the collision.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
