Fairfield Man Dies in Davis Motorcycle Accident on 80 Freeway near Mace Boulevard

, Calif. – A 37-year-old man from Fairfield was killed in a on Saturday evening in Davis.

The California Highway Patrol said the collision occurred in the westbound lanes of Interstate near Mace Boulevard.

The Fairfield man was riding a 2016 Harley-Davidson motorcycle westbound when he slammed into the left rear end of a 2007 Honda Civic.

The motorcyclist was ejected from the bike and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Honda driver did not suffer any injury and stayed at the scene.
